OUR SPECIAL DAY!!

Officially MRS MCGREGOR here :) Ok so the day was perfect everything was amazing, I really don't know what to say other then I have truly married the one I love :)

Here are some sneak peek photo's from the photographer, there are way to many to put them all in a post but I will try and add them to my website gallery eventually :)

QLD Trip

Ok so it's been a while since I blogged, it has been a crazy chaotic time and I am trying to time manage everything as of late. Well the most exciting news of all is I AM NOW THE HAPPY MRS MCGREGOR!!! Ben and I finally tied the knot and I can tell you it was and is the most amazing thing! I am so happy in love and everything went well, it was just simply perfection :)

Before I get into a wedding blog with a sneak peek of some of the photo's from the day I thought I would do an over view blog of the QLD trip itself.

It was an amazing time with amazing people :) We shopped, we wined, we dined, went swimming, we jet skied, faris wheeled, mini golfed and so so much more. I wanted to share some pictures with you! It was so memorable and something I have all our friends to be thankful for :)

So the pictures of the kids are separate to these ones, I will try and have them uploaded to the actual blog photo gallery when I catch up on that. The kids had a ball staying with poppy, grandma and grandpa at the Ashmore family holiday park :) They went swimming, played in the park, visited the wildlife park and so much more while they were there :)
Will get onto a Wedding day blog soon

Valentines Day

So Monday is Valentines Day, we aren't overly keen on gift giving and everything on Valentines Day, we like to think we express our love on more than one day a year lol but this year thought to do something sweet, inexpensive and of course a little craft activity for me. I'll go through it from the start.

I purchased Hershey Kisses from eBay as they are quite hard to find here in Australia in large quantities, they are an amarican chocolate. You can also find smaller packet in old English lolly shops sometimes. I bought adhesive paper from officeworks and a 3/4" punch from my local scrapbooking/craft shop. For the design I went on etsy.com and typed in printable hershey stickers and picked my favourite ones :) or you can get some freebie designs HERE or HERE

I printed the design onto the adhesive paper and punched out the circles using my 3/4" punch.
Then as simple as peeling and sticking them to the bottom of the Hersheys Kisses, they turned out very cute :)

To display them I plan on putting them in a jar and tying some ribbon around it and with the adhesive paper make a sticker to stick on the jar to say "A whole lot of Kisses for you on Valentines Day" pretty cute, I'm such a suck!!  You can display them any way you would like, in jars or wrappers or in a dish there's a million different ways to do them.

You can do these for just about anything; baby showers, christenings, birthdays, mothers and fathers day, Easter, Christmas, weddings. Speaking of weddings while I was Hershey sticking like crazy I decided to make some funky ones for our wedding for our guests.

Anyways I just wanted to share with you a huge trend in the US and hopefully see it spreading her down under.

Merry Christmas!!

Ok so I'm about 25 days late for a Christmas blog but thought I'd mention I have an awesome Christmas! We ended up getting cond into having it at our place so ended up cooking for 13 ppl. Considering I have never cooked a roast before, lunch was a huge success! The lamb came out just perfectly and the vibe and atmosphere was really festive!

We had decorated the table and wore aprons and reindeer ears! We had Christmas carols playing and everything was just wonderful everyone had a great time!

In the morning the kids enjoyed opening there presents! We decided not to give them to many presents as we want them to understand the true meaning of Christmas! We agreed to 3 presents each! One present from us, one preset from each other and one from santa. Not to mention everything else from everyone else so they had more then enough presents under the tree.

Max was happy to leave some carrots for the reindeer and milk and cookies for santa! We left a note for Max from Santa and half eaten cookies which was cute!

All in all was a great day and cant wait for next year :)

Oh before I forget to mention! We had Santa photos taken and discovered Jayden HATES Santa, makes for a funny photo though screaming his heart out!

Will attach some pics, not many since pain to upload.

Holidays a success

Last time I blogged we weren't to far off having our December wedding holiday!

Well it was a lovely time away although missed the kids.

We met with our wedding stylist who are fabulous, our photographer, hair and make up ladies and celebrant. All the wedding preps went well and can't wait for the big day! Times gone so quick just a 106 days left :)

Since we are on the wedding topic, I might as well up date you now! 95% of things are organised, we just put a deposit down for a cake! :) looks and sounds devine!

Its hand made chocolate cups, half filled with white chocolate cheesecake, topped up with chocolate mouse, with chunks of chocolate mud cake throughout. Decorated with chocolate scrolls on top and chocolate swirls on the cup. The top tier is mud cake, iced with ganache and a chocolate slat fence, with chocolate swirls on top. Sounds and looks soo delicious. We didn't want a traditional cake more something nice as a desert :)

Was also a pretty good price, normally wedding cakes range from $500-$800 but we are getting this one for $403 excluding delivery, pretty damn good and yummy!! Haha

Anyways Christmas, Jayden's First bday and New Years next.. wow how time flies. Busy busy busy!!

Will attach few pics of Ben and I on holiday.

Jupiters Casino!

So Ben arrived home a few days ago and we've been in Melb the last couple of days so it's been busy, busy!
It's so nice to have Ben home and the kids are loving every minute.

It dawned on Ben and I that out of all the times we have caught flights since being together we have not actually been on a flight together which makes me more excited to go on our holiday in December. We have spent time away from Max for about 2 nights but it will be nice to spend time to ourselves for 5 nights without the kids, might be a little hard to leave Jayden for the first time for that long :s

We previously booked the flights and car hire and have decided to book accommodation at Jupiters Casino. It's a 2 minute walk to the biggest shopping center in the southern hemisphere, shopping shopping shopping :) but it's also central to everything and we are staying there to see what it's like because we are thinking of booking it for the night before the wedding for the groom and best man. That way they have plenty of things they can do without having to worry bout going anywhere, in other words it'll be somewhat a bucks night; food, bars, gambling haha. It looks really nice so we'll see how we go.

Anyways not much else just enjoying Ben being home so might not hear from me for just a little bit haha

Pre-Wedding Holiday

We are just in the process of booking our pre-wedding holiday in December so we can celebrate our anniversary and do some pre-wedding meeting. Ben suggested to stay 5 nights instead of 7 and with the money we save on accommodation, car hire, food, etc we can spend on shopping.. God I love Ben, he knows me too well =) We only need to allocate 2 days to do wedding stuff so it's great we still have heaps of time to shop, relax and enjoy. He's booking an early flight there and a late flight back so we have that extra time to soak up the sun =)
I'm so excited to spend time with him without the kids and I can't wait for our wedding. I just wish it would hurry up hehe.
