Our Nest

Ben & I have always referred to our home as "the nest" & I love it and think it is perfect. 

So this inspired my next little present for Ben :) I have told Ben to stay off the blog until our official anniversary coming up as I have finally taken photos of his present and I just HAVE to share!! Unfortunately he wont be home for our anniversary so I'm "sending love from the nest"

Its a personalized egg that contains a little message on the inside. You have to crack the egg open to get the note.. It's sooo adorable & appropriate. I've had it hidden for a while but I wanted to take pics and add a gift tag to the box before Ben comes back home, our anniversary is during the next time he's away so I will put it in a boring box and pop it in his luggage and he can open it on the day of our anniversary. I'm so excited and can't wait to give it to him :) I'm such a quirky gift giver hehehe!

I purchased this from LittleOkins on Etsy and it arrived safe and in record time :) she has so many other wonderful designs and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have a few friends having babies soon so I will be heading back for more :)

Flip Flops

So I just finished the last of the flip flops for the wedding. I originally bought my ivory bridal pair from MyDreamWedding on etsy.com and decided to be brave and attempt the aqua ones for the girls. I think I did an alright job but of course not as good as the ones from MyDreamWedding hahaha.

 Ahh I love flip flops!!!

Bridal Party Gifts

While we are in the gift giving blog mood I thought I would share with you the bracelets I bought for Clare, Nicole and I for the wedding day. They are so cute gorgeous and absolutely perfect! 

I bought the bracelets from MadeBySam on Esty.com, each bracelet has a starfish charm, blue aqua chalcedony charm, pearl charm and a disc with initial on it. I bought the white leather bracelet boxes from eBay and I used rub on letters to make them more personalised, then added ribbon and slider to make them more decorative. The leather boxes came in white cardboard boxes and I was originally not going to use them but to protect the leather boxes I thought it was a good idea to keep them and it made for an extra craft project :) so I added some pink patterned paper and rhinestone initial on the cardboard box to make them a little prettier. 

This bracelet will be my something blue for the wedding day too :)  

I can't wait to give them to the girls.

I'm a girl that loves to shop!

Lots of new things mostly for the family but you know how it is when you have kids and a loving partner lol.

At the moment I am absolutely obsessed with Etsy.com they have the coolest stuff on there

I bought a blanket for Jayden's surf theme nursery but it's so cute and vintage I might have to keep it for myself lol - Thanks to Etsy shop Verdurebydesign

I had this security blanket made for Jayden which I can attach his dummy to. It has a photo of him and Ben so he can keep Daddy close when he goes away. I absolutely love it. I have photo's but am still waiting for it in the mail. It's more then I dreamed of and can't wait to show it off. It's deff one of a kind - Thanks to Gemma from Etsy shop GemmaPayne She was so lovely to deal with and listened to my every request and I am truly grateful that she could make something to special for Jayden and Daddy.
