Baby No.3

Ahhhhh so yesterday I was due for my monthly and no sign! It runs like clockwork each month so I decided to take a test even though I wasn't technically late yet hahaha. Everyone was talking about how I could be pregnant with a honeymoon baby even though I wasn't late for my period but it had me paranoid so anyway so be it... 

Ben wasn't home for the news but I rang him, work decided to keep him 5 extra days and I was waaaayyyy to impatient to wait to tell him hahaha! We are both thrilled but still early days, so only a few selected people know and the family and rest of our friends will find out once we have an ultrasound picture :) 

Happy B'day Jess!!

Ok so I was having a moment and was feeling a little useless last time I blogged but I couldn't be better! I have a wonderful family and friends who support me and uni well it's crazy and challenging but it's great to. It's only going to be a quick one as I really need to start walking out the door but thought I'd leave with some photos from over the weekend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!!! I hope you had a fabulous day, I had an amazing time with amazing people!! Long live wonderful memories :)

It was an awesome St Patrick's day theme birthday :)

On the amazing people note, I'm not even sure if I've blogged but Nicole, Cory, Jess and Jarrod are now coming to my wedding and I'm soo excited not long now!! I miss Clare bear terribly too :( can't wait to be sun baking with them all in just over 6 weeks :)

For Jess's b'day present we organised flights for her to no where else but QLD, she really wanted to be there for us at the wedding and it was the only thing that I could think of as she's the girl that wants nothing and has everything hehehe :) so this was perfect and I was happy, she absolutely loved it :)

I printed up her itinerary and popped it in an envelope. I then designed a boarding pass style card/message and attached it to the front of the envelope, it looked great.

The time has come and gone again.

Ben's been home and is now off on his travels again. It doesn't get any easier each time he leaves us. If you had of asked me a couple years ago whether I could see myself dealing with the distance the answer would have been no. Sometimes I have great strength and other times I feel like I'm falling apart. I guess there's just great sacrifice for love and it's not everyday people can do it which makes me more proud of my determination to keep a great relationship that I do have, strong.

With all that said, Jayden started day care since the last time I blogged. Yesterday was his second day and I think he's enjoying it so far. He seems to be liking the new environment and playing with all the toys but its still hard to let him go when i drop him off. I wish I could get him in the same center Max is in but there are no spots available just yet.

It's Bens birthday soon and have no idea what to do. I normally have something up my sleeve but so lost for ideas :S

Wedding plans are coming along nicely, invitations are nearly all done just have to collect some information and brochures on our Dec pre wedding trip. I haven't even sent out all the save the dates yet but talk about being ahead with all the planning wow!!

Anyways it's getting late and I'm feeling drowsy! Night!

Wedding Ceremony

We have booked our ceremony transport, stylist, celebrant and our photographer. We are really excited and glad that we are really all under way

We are planning to head up to the gold coast in Dec to meet with everyone to make sure everything runs smoothly and we can go through exactly what we envision for our wedding day. It also means Ben and I get a week holiday for our anniversary at the same time! thanks dad for baby sitting =) 

Our Celebrant Candy is just lovely to talk to. I can't wait to meet her and am so glad she is going to be our Celebrant, she's really going to make sure we are looked after =)

Ben wanted a white Jaguar for our wedding transport, it looks really nice and even better with the nice white wedding ribbon hehe. Clare and I will arrive at the ceremony in it and Ben and I will taken back to our reception.. It will look fabulous in the photos. Hire company is Kenz Classic

Beautiful Beach Weddings is styling our wedding, they have some amazing work and take the stress out of our day by styling the wedding, even helping with guests, playing music and helping with the over all running's of the wedding and they take it all away at the end. We have a vision for our ceremony and they can for fill that with all there hire decorations. I can't wait to meet with them in December to finalize all the ceremony decor. I also purchased my diy save the dates from them and they look great, you'll have to wait for a later post with pics =P

Our photographer is probably the most important to us as we would really love to capture our day and all it's special moments. We originally didn't think about video but we are now doing that also. Him and his wife do the photography and his brother the video. He's such a lovely man that's really taken the time to find out about us so he can capture us in the best way. He's helped creating a package to suit us and is also more then happy to help with any other wedding preparation on his end as we are so far away. I originally found him from my celebrants website so they have recommended each other so it's worked out well =)

I never realised how much organising goes into a wedding, especially a destination one. But I'm just so excited to meet with everyone and I've also have booked my hair stylist and makeup artists and will have a trial in Dec on our anniversary so I will have nice hair and makeup to go to a nice romantic dinner =)

Where's my babies gone!

The kids have grown up sooo much. Max is talking to me like a little adult and has horrible attitude at the best of times but its the cute little things he does that I can't help but smile. His latest thing at the moment is "are you so proud of me mum, I'm proud of you" its just adorable. and only a couple of days ago I sent him to his room for being naughty, he stopped crying and I could hear what I thought was him playing but later that night when I put him to bed, as I walked into the room he said "do you like it mum, its clean, are you proud of me" I asked him when he cleaned it and he said "in naughty time" it makes you melt.

Jayden well he's become quite the terror. He has 2 little teeth on the bottom and he started commando shuffling backwards then slowly crawling but within the last couple of weeks he's found his muscles and his feet and now climbs up on everything and furniture walks. He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth and loves playing with cords, if there's none out he manages to find them lol. He is just sooooo inquisitive, you can see him thinking to himself how he's going to get something. He laughs and smiles every time he's being naughty, you just can't get mad, he's a little suck! He has so many cute noises and thinks he can sing to the radio in the car but it just sounds like screaming to me lol. He is definitely keeping me on my toes, especially when daddy is gone. He is the biggest daddy's boy you'll ever come across, it's just adorable the 2 of them when Ben's home. Lucky for me he's starting child care on the 11th Oct so that should keep him busy and give me time to do the things I need to. It's going to be hard letting him go, I didnt put max in care until he was nearly 3 and that was hard enough lol. But I know it will be good for Jayden to get used to different environments and different people caring for him.

I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!

OMG!! where do I start.
Well dad was visiting from Indo and Ben was due to fly out again so we decided to stay someone for some time away from the kids which we hadn't had since Jayden being born. 

So on May 1st 2010 to be exact lol we stayed at Kudos Villas (www.kudosvillas.com.au/hepburn) which are absolutely gorgeous, we stayed at the diversion property.

Anyway he'd booked a massage for me and it was so nice just to relax especially soaking in that divine spa. We were sitting on the couch after my massage and we were just watching tv and talking. I had slightly mentioned awhile ago that I wanted to get married so I was saying I would much rather to buy a love couch like the one we were sitting on then have a ring on my finger haha just cos the couch is so expensive anyway the sneaky bugger put his hands in his pocket and said "a ring like this".
I was in shock. He then said will you marry me. I remember saying to him straight away "You shithead, how did you hide this from me" lol but of course I said "Yes"

The ring is gorgeous and is so sparkly, I love it, it's very me! I always have people commenting on how nice it is. I guess I'll share some pics with you tehehe.

It has a matching wedding band which is just stunning to!! but have to wait for that one until

WE HAVE PICKED A DATE!!
Pretty much once I have covered all my catch up blogs it's going to be wedding post after wedding post until the wedding hehe I'm so excited!! I'll tell you all about it in another post.

6 Months!!! wowza!!

Ok so it's been six months from the last post I did and I tell you want.. SOOOO much has happened. The last I left off was that we just moved into a new house and Ben was on his journey to PNG for the second time. Well all that was fine, a few more riots and attacks, but something to be expected of that country. On a better note since then he has found a new job in Australia YAY!! so he left a week ago and guess what... he's home in a week, so yup that means a 2/2 week roster!! It's going to be so much better for the kids and me. He also has a lot better communication and I at least know he's safe in Aus. He also likes it a lot better, the company is more organised, pays better, closer, safer, etc so he's been a lot less stressed and a lot more happy which makes for a happier me hahaha.

Well aside from all that there's so much else that has gone on in the last 6 months. I have a list of things I want to put in separate blogs just so I don't clutter this post with to much. some of which includes;

• My business is going well, I enjoy doing it.
• Ben proposed.. so yes I'm engaged and have picked a wedding date =)
• The kids have grown up so much, especially Jayden with all his new milestones
• Facebook, friends and drama oh it never ends hahah

So much since the last.

Okay so pretty much we found a house, we've moved and settled in. Ben's away on journeys again. Last time he was a way they had a major riot with the locals breaking into the compound and a lot of people were injured. He didnt want to tell me about it while he was there because he knew it would stress me out. I feel very un easy now that he's gone again, If he takes to long in replying to messages I automatically freak out. 

But so far things have been ok.. On the home front Ash a new friend I have made here in Ballarat is lovely who come's and keeps me company. We take the kids to the play center to let them have a run around. It helps in a town I know nothing about nor where anything is to at least have a friend.

I have also decided to take on a new business adventure making baby blankets. I had a few made for Jayden but I now want to share my idea's around and sell them to other people. My website is www.cuddleupkids.com.au I have been soooo busy trying to set that up that the time Ben has been gone has gone a little bit quicker. 

Also we've put Max into a school and he absolutely loves it, he was getting so cooped up at home but glad he has something he looks forward to. He'll also be starting swimming next term, so that also will be very exciting for him. He turns 3 in a couple of weeks, oh how they grow up so quickly, he's my little baby =S 

Well anyway just wanted to finally do an update. 

I've also half finished Jaydens surf theme nursery, I ended up getting the two tone furniture and I love it. Now all it needs is a few wall hangings and maybe a rug.

Theres a nice ladder shelf and wardrobes on the other side of the room but forgot to take photos, once it's done I'll take some more.

We Have a Home!

I''m so happy!! we finally found a home to settle into in Ballarat. I'm so glad to be out of my mum's house and into my own space with all my stuff! Thirteen of us at any one time at mum's was getting a little chaotic!

I have photo's of the house from the realestate listing but yet to have any photo's with our furniture! Well considering we only moved in today you can imagine it's still quite un tidy lol.

Been Awhile!

Ok so Ben didn't come home early =( but on the plus side only 3 more sleeps yay!! 

So much has happened since last time I blogged. For starters the Perth plan a total bust. Dunno really think Ben freaked out and wants to be closer to his family which I get but still a little disappointing. I'm happy where he is and glad to have him so I guess I can't complain.

I finally have the ball rolling with this mediation and lawyers stuff so I can get Max away from Leigh soon until he's off stupid drugs because it scares the hell out of me that Max isn't safe =(

Jayden is great getting so big. Max is starting to play up with lack of routine so I'm dying to get our own place where-ever that may be and putting him back in school.

Um I'm so tired I thought I was able to remember all the things to update but wow really can't think or focus lol

Doctors

I went to the doctors today and she's got me trying this nuvaring contraceptive. It really seems like it may be the thing that works for me considering I'm hopeless at taking a pill every day and she didn't want to give me the implanon because one it doesn't work for everyone and she was saying from my history before, through and after pregnancy I may be a little sensitive to hormones so she didn't want to but something in me permanently in case I didn't cope. At least with the nuvaring I can remove it and try another type of contraceptive. Fingers crossed it works =)

We have a plan

So it's been nearly 2 weeks since Ben left and things are doing ok. It got a little hard in the middle there for a bit because Ben's computer decided to shit it self and pretty much it was 80% of how we kept in contact but he managed to get the IT guy to fix it =)

We have finally come up with a plan for the future and where we want to be to raise the children. It was a little confusing for awhile because of numerous factors like money, timing, family, etc but for now we have a plan even if it doesn't work out it's something to look forward to and focus on right now.

Once Ben gets back I'm heading back to Nowra. If the house doesn't sell which we don't think it will considering christmas, new year and now Australia wide floods it's just def a hectic time but anyway..

If it doesn't Ben consolidates all his loans into one and we go through the process of trying to rent it out so we can move permanently to Perth =) I might be there for 6 months or so but at least I'm out of this hectic household here at mums and I can get Max back into the same school he was in hopefully.

If the house does sell then we are going to hopefully have a 3 month settlement and in that time we will look for rentals in Perth and be there within 3 month..

Either way we are moving to Perth yay!! =) bring on the beach. We've done a little research into some areas so far we are looking at Rockingham, Mandurah or surrounding areas in between.

I've also made the step into organising a mediation session for Leigh and I so I can order drug testing before he see's Max again since I found out he is doing drugs while Max is in his care. Aside from the drugs I have to constanly chase up child support, so I can't be bothered anymore. Also works in my favour because I am 100% possitive he will fail the test so makes it easier to move to Perth. If he does become clean he has family in Perth so he can come see Max there.

anyways the kids are doing well but def missing daddy! but yeah other than that, that's all for now.

Missing Him

Ben arrived at the compound/camp where he's staying. I feel bad for him, he's currently living and working in a shipping container. I got to speak to him a little bit today which was comforting, I miss him so much. I'm doing ok, I have my little emotional out burst but overall I'm doing ok. today was 30 degrees outside and here I am curled up inside in a jumper and trackies, I had no idea how hot it was, it just shows you I didnt leave the house. Today I didnt feel like dealing with anyone, I wanted to be left alone to cry if I wanted to without feeling bad or without someone thinking I was being negative and depressing. I know it'll get easier, it just seems so different this time. Normally when Ben had to leave it was still in the same country and I could still talk to him and txt him but now he's in a remote country with limited phone service and only plug in internet so no facetime it just seems harder with the lack of communication. I cling onto phone calls and emails since I don't get them as often as I like. Not to mention I think it's harder also because I have Jayden aswell. I just wish our family could have been together a little longer before he had to go.

Tomorrow I hope I feel better since I have a lot I need to do. I need to post 2 letters, see Kim in the morning and Kylie in the arvo. Then I need to pick up my little man =) I miss him so much too and it's been harder since he hasn't been around to keep me on my toes. 

I can't wait until monday when clare gets back, things just seem a lot more in order when she is around. Oh well i guess I better hit the shower and try and get some shut eye.

A New Start

So I have an old blog but thought I'd start a new one, I've put up a link to my OLD BLOG HERE because I'm just gonna start where I left off. 

A lot has happened since I last blogged. 

Obviously Christmas was one of them so you can only imagine how chaotic that was. Then Boxing day our little bubba decided to make an appearance with only LITERALLY 1 hour notice. Instead of gracefully going through all stages of labor, I went into active labor straight away resulting in nearly having him in the car but all in all he was a healthy 8lb 5oz, 50.5cm little bubba named Jayden Glenn. I delivered at 10:35am and was out of hospital at 8pm that night. Max has been absolutely wonderful with him and he is just the cutest towards him, he loves being a big brother and helping out. It is def a lot of work but so far it has been 110% worth it.

 

On a sadder note Ben left for PNG this morning, he was pretty upset having to leave me with the kids at such short notice but at least he was able to help out with Jayden for the first week. He's so great with him and I can't wait for him to come home already. I miss him so much and it hasn't even been 24 hours. He has arrived safely to a motel there and heads out to the compound he'll be staying at in the morning. I've been pretty numb all day with a few little emotional out burst but overall I'm coping for the mean time. I've been finding comfort in episodes of army wives from the start lol and also comfort in Jayden as I don't have Max until friday so been good having baby and me time with lots of cuddles and no distractions =)

Anyways I better head off, since Jaydens still figuring out his feeding and sleep scheduals any rest I can get goes a long way
